Ten to The End and The Revision Track

TWO PATHS. ONE GOAL. YOUR BEST BOOK YET.

Ten to the End is a ten-month, immersive book-writing program led by Pat Dunn with guest instructor Alexandra Soiseth, designed to take you from idea or partial draft to a finished manuscript. Blending generative writing, craft instruction, weekly write-ins, accountability, and one-to-one feedback, the course supports both the technical and emotional journey of completing a book. Think of it as an MFA-in-a-box: rigorous, supportive, and focused on building a compelling, resonant story from first sentence to last—without writing alone.
Dates: March 10, 2026 – January 12, 2027

The Revision Track
is a six-month, supportive and creatively energizing course for writers ready to revise and refine their manuscript. Through practical classes, Zoom write-ins, and bi-weekly one-on-one feedback, you’ll sharpen your writing, deepen your story, and move from messy draft to focused, confident manuscript—without losing its heart.
Dates: March 11 – September 9, 2026

Join Pat Dunn and Alexandra Soiseth for 10 TO THE END — 10 MONTHS TO THE END OF YOUR BOOK.

Ten months to the end of your book is a unique blend of generative writing and story development, with craft teaching and practice sessions as well as extensive connection and accountability sessions and structures. Ideal for the writer with a partial manuscript needing refining and/or focus and/or building, or, the writer with just the seedling of an idea and a few notes. This course is like an MFA in a box, with an emphasis on generating and building a story with enough tension/drama/character development to pull the reader from the first sentence to the last while also ensuring a deep layered resonance to make that reading journey fulfilling.

Targeted feedback will come in the form of one-to-one conferences for maximum individual attention to the writer and their story. Completing a book is as much an emotional journey as it is a technical one, and when you take this course, you will never have to travel alone.

Including weekly write-ins, class time with the instructors totals 880 hours of spread out over a ten month period.

Testimonials

“Finally, a way to really get it done!  Incisive individual coaching.  Optional writing ‘alongside’ kept me moving.  Alex and Pat are a fun, fabulous, honest, accessible, encouraging team.  Highly recommend!” - Deborah

"Before signing up for Ten Months to the End, I was floundering with my unfinished manuscript, lost on the ocean in a raft drifting on the tides. This course has provided me with a tiller, rudder, mast, sails and a sextant to take me to where I needed to go and cross the finish line with my novel. With craft classes, one on one time, plot discussion, group writing and a host of valuable information, I have not only achieved my goal but am now looking forward to the remaining three months to fine tune and edit with the assistance of Alex and Pat.  These accomplished writers and teachers are always available to assist and I highly recommend this class." -Corinne
